AMSTERDAM KLEZMER BAND
2022
Mister Job Chajes, author of this song and founding father of of Amsterdam Klezmer Band wanted us to remeber following facts about this track:
“Aunt Peppie is Job Chajes his last living aunt who survived the nazi camps in WW2. After the war she went to the US and built a family. Nowadays she still tells her story (age 88) at schools and university’s not to forget what horror came upon to the jewish peoples in Europe, last century. This one is dedicated to aunt Peppie Chajes!”
Mister Igor Sekulović [This is LOVSKI], a Netherland-based Bosnian musician, artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and baklava lover, did the other part of the magic, processed the stems through his mesmerizing heartware & soulware and added a special deep-night rhythm to it.
The original song Aunt Peppie is just one of 20 mesmerizing songs released on a new AKB Album called “Some kind of Golem“.
